三集迷你劇篇幅，用了大量特寫關注人物表情變化，演員誇張的微妙的都符合角色，可以忽略配合女主角每個人物年齡大幅往上調的缺憾。Elinor這個角色很內斂，幾個有趣的固定鏡位都關注她的動作，比如端茶沒人喝，索性在樓梯間自己喝了，又及聽聞Edward婚訊默默走出大廳，襯得後面大喜而哭真是一吐怨氣。么妹爬樹觀察，媽媽和Marianne在樹下急問的敘事角度也有趣。相較於這版，我不太喜歡2008版，主要是Willoughby選角失敗，缺乏魅力；或許Edward或Colonel Brandon到故事後半很重要，但他才是故事前半的亮點！找Greg Wise來演就對了——人好看，聲音也好聽，無怪乎輕鬆就把Marianne的魂勾走。不過整部看下來倒覺出珍奧斯汀還是有既定的角色套路啊。
